Chuck Liddiard

Executive Director & Lead Counselor

With over 20 years of experience in secondary and higher education, Chuck Liddiard has dedicated his career to helping students discover their potential and find their path to success.

Chuck spent nine years working in college admissions, evaluating over 20,000 applications and reading more than 30,000 college essays. That experience provided deep insight into how colleges evaluate students—and where families often feel the most uncertainty. For the past eight years, Chuck has worked independently with students and families, including those in independent schools, providing long-term, personalized guidance focused on clarity, confidence, and fit. This combination informs a calm, transparent approach that helps families move forward with confidence—not pressure.

Families Guided Through the College Journey

A Mission Born from Experience

In 2017, Chuck founded The Paratum Scholars with a clear mission: to make expert college guidance accessible to all students, regardless of their family's financial situation. Having witnessed firsthand how quality counseling can transform a student's trajectory, he was determined to remove the barriers that prevent many families from accessing these services.

As a non-profit leader, Independent Education Consultant (IEC) and a Certified Facilitator of the Highlands Ability Battery (HAB), Chuck brings a comprehensive approach to student development that goes far beyond college applications. He helps students understand their unique strengths and build a foundation for lifelong success.

Our Leadership

The Paratum Scholars is guided by a dedicated board of directors with expertise spanning education, admissions, athletics, and nonprofit management.
